Design Elements for a French blue wedding on Lake Geneva
Shelby and Zach’s big day was slated to be a midsummer soirée on the shores of Lake Geneva. The Abbey Resort wedding was full of French blue accents, so we wanted to set that tone with their invitations. Pale blue envelope, blue ink, and a delicate silk ribbon to tie everything together. From the time these hit mailboxes, guests knew what to expect on the big day.

Outdoor Ceremony
Shelby and Zach officially said “I do” at the outdoor gazebo. If you’re hosting a wedding at The Abbey Resort, this gorgeous waterfront space is hard to beat!
After being pronounced husband and wife, Shelby and Zach recessed with bubbles! Such a perfect, environmentally-friendly display for this outdoor setting.

Welcome and Cocktail Hour
This sweet couple wanted to hand write a note to each of their guests. This idea is always heartfelt and meaningful and provides a great keepsake for your loved ones. I designed and printed the stationery to go inside (that they used to write the notes), as well as the envelopes with each guest’s name and table number. This way, it doubled as their escort card display.
Other details
They had packaging for “late night” flip flops, which was so fun! All in all, a lovely summer reception. Simple and sweet! Grateful to have been a part of it.
