Kelly and James got married in August 2020. Their burgundy and blush Royal Park Hotel wedding was filled with love. Plus, visually, it was a stunner! I’m forever grateful to Kelly, who was the first-ever client to purchase her invitations from my semi-custom collection. Her trust in me is something I’ll always carry with me!
This couple moved forward with their wedding on their original date, taking COVID precautions for their loved ones and the community. It was a gorgeous event with an outdoor reception, so without any further delay, let’s check out this lovely Royal Park Hotel wedding and the details that helped make it extra special!
The invitation
Kelly and James chose to customize “The Natalie” suite from my semi-custom collection, and they added all the fun bells and whistles! The customizations they chose:
- letterpress printing (yes, please!)
- cream cardstock
- claret ink
- blush envelope
- upgraded the main card to A9 size and double thick stock
- included an information card
- opted for calligraphy for their guest envelope addressing
- added envelope liner (in harvest), belly band (in dusty rose), and wax seal (in gold)
This burgundy and blush invitation suite set the tone for their color palette on the big day! The all-script design and luxury elements they chose also gave an intentionally elegant first impression. Their guests had a clear idea of what they could expect at Kelly and James’ Royal Park Hotel wedding.
The invitation customizations they chose made perfect sense for their day. The beauty of the semi-custom collection is that this is flexible for you, your wedding vibe, and your budget! The common thing for this particular design in the collection is that it’s an all-script layout, written in this modern calligraphy style. Everything else is up to you.
Customize the Natalie suite for your weddingGetting Ready and Ceremony
Kelly and James are just as attractive as they are kind, and that’s saying something! I love seeing a sharp-dressed man on his wedding day. James rocked a blue suit and bow tie. Kelly looked classically elegant. Their ceremony took place in the conservatory, which is my favorite setting for any Royal Park Hotel wedding. It’s stunning architecturally, but is perfectly neutral to serve as a backdrop for your chosen decor. Here, Kelly and James entrusted Sara from Parsonage Events to bring in some serious color with their bright and cheery floral.

I’ll keep this section brief. These gorgeous photos from Brittany Emerson Photography do all the talking!
Details from this Royal Park Hotel wedding
Kelly and James paid attention to every detail for their loved ones! They made sure people enjoyed a beautiful event — safely — at every turn. On the tables, their escort cards perfectly paired with their invitations, including their monogram (which matched the wax seal from their invitation).
At their bar, so did their koozies! These day-of-details (and so many others) are available as part of the semi-custom collection for clients who have purchased invitations. So many of my clients have said how easy it’s made the planning process. Everything printed is available from one vendor, hassle-free and perfectly coordinated! The entire tented reception area was covered in abundant florals. The burgundy, blush, and bright pink flowers covered every surface, with pops of soft, natural linens.
A huge congratulations to The Larges on their nuptials! Thanks for letting me play a small role in your big celebration. It was an honor creating the stationery for your Royal Park Hotel wedding. May your marriage have this much joy, always.
