Full-time professional invitations designer and calligrapher since 2016, with two years of part-time calligraphy experience before that. Ten years of experience and still loving every second!

  • Attended Michigan State University (BA in English; BA in Linguistics), started a magazine, worked as the executive assistant to the CEO at a venture capital firm. Type A, you can be rest assured.
  • Hundreds of wedding clients served for events in metro Detroit, throughout Michigan, and all over the country (as well as international destination events).

Likewise, you can add in ink drawings and/or watercolor paintings, which are also included in your package.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by “an invitation with calligraphy”?

I don’t use any script fonts around here.

I write every script element by hand in calligraphy, just for you, once. It’s then scanned and digitized so all your invitation sets are printed identically, but it’s one-of-a-kind for your special day.

If you’ve opted for envelope calligraphy, I’ll address each one individually, by hand, to every recipient.

How long does the process take? What if we’re tight on time?

Generally, 6-8 weeks for invitations. If you’re in a pinch, please reach out — I’ll do my best to accommodate a rush order or provide a referral.

For other services, the timeline is shorter, but I take projects on a first-come, first-served basis… and book out well in advance. Reach out to secure your spot on the production calendar!

Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples?

YES. You are welcome here. You matter here. Your love story will be honored and cherished here.

I’d love to work with you lovebirds, no matter what you look like or who you love.

We’ve never done this before. What if we don’t know about wording / visuals / printing methods / what we need for our wedding stationery?

Nobody would expect you to know this stuff!

Everyone has different logistics, color palette, vibe, and stationery budget for their events. I will help determine what elements you need, how they’ll be printed, and what embellishments will enhance the overall suite based on your specifications! Your proposal will be fully customized to you and what you need.

As part of my service, you’ll receive a comprehensive wording draft — no etiquette Googling required.

You’ll also get a full digital mockup of all the elements of your save the date, invitation, and day-of-wedding items to leave feedback!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. All wedding stationery projects are booked with a 50% retainer. Anything changed over the course of your proofing process will be added to your final payment, due upon your approval of the final proof.

Your day-of-event items will have the same 50-50% structure for split payments, closer to the big day.

For other services, projects are booked with a 25% retainer, and final payment is due before the project is shipped/picked up.

What about our planner / mom / eager-to-help bridesmaid?

Great, bring ’em out 🙌 Anyone on “team wedding” is more than welcome around here for consultations, proofing, and sanity checks. If you need someone else included on communication, please just let me know up front.
