Rikki and Matt got married “Father of the Bride” style, in the backyard of Rikki’s childhood home. It was always her dream to do this, and it was executed perfectly by Melissa Vitale Feldman of Vitale Events. Relive their special day, as they said “I do” under an expansive tree, with imagery captured on film by Blaine Siesser.
The Invitation - Details & In Studio Photo Session
These photos were taken separately, in a studio setting by Niki Marie Photography, with styling by Birch Affair. I wanted to ensure that Rikki’s family’s home address was hidden in all photos and it was on the main invitation card. This studio setting allowed for this!
Matt’s grandfather had painted the home in a gorgeous watercolor. He knew the couple planned to incorporate it in some way — what he didn’t know is that it would be the foundation for the overall design, including the periwinkle accents, as inspired by the clouds in his painting. What a special detail!
What gets me is the way he looks at her, and the way she beams with joy. She is laughing and grinning ear to ear in every frame.
Portraits with Wedding Party
Rikki and Matt had a large, fun wedding party to celebrate with them, “Father of the Bride” style!
Ceremony
Rikki and Matt first signed their Ketubah with an intimate group. Then, they had their ceremony for all guests beneath a massive tree in the backyard of her childhood home. It’s what “Father of the Bride” dreams are made of!
